Hello,
I am Ed Babitzke and this business (Babitzke and Associates) is to assist you with whatever issues you might be having with the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities.
I spent a little over 16 years in the US Air Force. During that time I worked several part time jobs (they really ended up be full time) that included door to door sales, car sales, insurance agent, real estate investor, hamburger flipper, convenience store clerk, small business consultant, and a lot more. I finally received an Associate Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. After all that and spending several years in various jobs, I decided this consulting business I started in 1995 was not paying the bills.
So in 2001 I started looking for what most people call a real job. I was contacted in 2002 for a position with the Internal Revenue Service. I was called about a Tax Resolution Representative. The TRR position was a face-to-face customer service position in a local Taxpayer Assistance Center.
I took every opportunity that came up and moved to a Revenue Officer position in 2006. Part of my time at the IRS was spent being a classroom and virtual instructor for continuing education, advance technical issues, and everyday procedures. I spent a little over 16 years with the Internal Revenue Service. Retiring in February 2019.
As a Revenue Officer, I talked to thousands of business owners. Some had a very good grasp of the business; they just fell into short time financial difficulty and chose to do something that they knew would cause problems. Others had no clue how to run a business. They were excellent at what they did, just no business sense.
I became an Enrolled Agent allowing me to represent you for tax issues. As the sole proprietor of Babitzke and Associates, there are no other employees or “owners”. I am here to assist you with issues you may be having with the Internal Revenue Service.
